Terms of Service

These terms govern access to the paid offers of Sargassum Riviera Maya (sargassumcancun.com) — the “Service”. By subscribing you fully accept these terms.

1. Operator

The Service is operated by 97TECH. The sale is carried out through an authorized payment provider acting as Merchant of Record (see art. 4).

2. The Service

The Service provides sargassum tracking on the beaches of Riviera Maya from satellite data (Copernicus, NOAA): live map, 0-100 score per beach, 7-day forecast and alerts. The information is indicative and forecast-based; it is not a guarantee of absolute accuracy (see art. 8 and our measured reliability).

3. Offers and prices

Current offers and prices are shown in the app. As of today:

• Premium monthly — $9.99/month, no commitment.
• Premium yearly — $79/year.
• Trip Pass — $5.99, full access for 7 days, one-time payment with no renewal.

Prices are shown in USD, including applicable taxes where due; applicable taxes are calculated and collected by our payment provider based on your place of residence.

4. Payment

Payment is processed securely through our authorized payment provider, acting as Merchant of Record / reseller of the Service. That provider handles the transaction, billing, invoicing and tax collection; its buyer terms also apply to the payment. We never receive or store your full card details. The payment provider is shown at checkout.

5. Subscription and renewal

Premium subscriptions (monthly, yearly) renew automatically at term, at the current rate, until cancelled. The Trip Pass is a one-time purchase, non-renewing.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no fee or justification, from your subscription management area or by writing to support@sargassumcancun.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; no further charge is made and access remains active until then.

7. Refund

Our satisfaction guarantee is detailed on the Refund Policy page.

8. Liability

The Service relies on satellite data and forecast models: despite our daily checks, a beach’s actual state may differ from the forecast. The Service is provided “as is”; the operator cannot be held liable for a trip, a swim or any decision made solely on the basis of the information provided.

9. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law (the operator’s jurisdiction), without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence (Mexico). For any claim: support@sargassumcancun.com.
